Christine
Ackers-Griffin is a
UKCP
registered
psychotherapist, a
BACP
Senior Accredited Supervisor and accredited by the
EAP the European Association of Psychotherapy.
I have been counselling since 1987 and have a wide range
of experience working with individuals couples and
families. I have practising as a supervisor since 1997.
Counselling and supervision sessions can be flexible in
the context of face to face, Skype and telephone. For
anyone wishing to engage in the more in-depth process of
psychotherapy then working weekly face to face is more
appropriate.
Is Counselling for me?
Moving to a new country seem like an exciting new
adventure, the reality can sometimes be very different.
Loss of family friends and support and integrating in a
different culture can result in many relationship
difficulties.
When we experience distress in our lives asking for help
can be the most difficult we have ever to do. It can be
a relief to know that how you are feeling happens to
many people at sometime in their lives. When past or
present conflict and difficulties in relationships are
left unattended they have the potential to quickly erupt
into a crisis.
Taking the decision to pick up the phone is the first
important step you will take in effecting change in your
world.
If you are unsure if psychotherapy or counselling is
right for you at this moment in time then please contact
me for an initial discussion of your issues and needs. |
